General Exclaim UHP ????
I use them for DD just fine in SoCal....super cheap and last a long time. I'm on 10k miles with no issues. Grip isn't like the stock Advans..but hell I'm on a budget right now...
i had them on my evo 8 they were a great replacement tire for a DD. Its one of the only, if not the only ZR rated tire with a snow rating. I plan on getting them for my X when these bologna skins wear out.

I'm on my second set as summer tires only on my lexus IS250. I love them for the ride, but they are crap handling compared to OEM dunlops or Mich PS2's. I have 102k miles on my 3 year old car so been through a bunch of tires. For the highway and all around are a great cheap perf tire. I would never take them to a track. I got almost 40k miles out of my last set.
I save my money for my 'X' that might go to a track eventually.
I'll call BS on good in the snow. Maybe cause I'm only RWD on the Lex. I have winter tires/wheel setup for snow days.

Horrible tire. They're designed to be the cheapes tire you can put on performance wheels. They're mushy and gushy and a cheap design. Not sure what the handling characteristics would be with our awd but on a rear wheel drive its like a hockey puck for me even in the dry.
Tires are worth the extra $ all day... never skimp out on tires eVER!

People Cheap out all the time and never give it a second thought. I spend top dollar for my Rubber. I own the General Exclaims on my older car and its a tire that does the job when driving on dry and wet for a daily driver. But never for the track or severe weather. If you want a capable tire, go with the Conti DWS or DW.
