Selecting Coilovers
There are Robi modified KW v3 "clubsport" versions and there are an actual model of KW coilover from the factory called clubsport. http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_p...nPage=overview
so far for my own car i was thinking of getting some Ohlins or KW since i can get a real good deal on either one.
i dont like trial and error too much. for the OP. i think you should get what you can afford but even if its a bit pricey, like someone else posted, just save up a bit more to get something that you will be totally satisfied with.

I have an AST rally set up. But you can get the street version. The AST is in pair the biggest names , but the rally set up is not cheap. Like $2K. But AST do offer the lower priced set up for street or track .
I can say nothing but great things about AST. I did run many coilovers before , and this is one of the best.
There is no real comparison here with a street or track version of coilovers, but let me tell you this. I did run - race the KW V3 on public STREET's, at one rally racing event./ International Rally new York/ After 20 miles it is broke in half the front left suspension. Make me go off and crash. /not too bad/
Regardless the fact i was in a rally race , it was still tarmac public road. So I 'm doubting the sturdiness of the KW V3 / not a rally version/ if you put them to a hard test in hard not TRACK conditions. And for a very obvious reason.
The AMR would hold up perfect in a same situation, but wont survive my driving on dirt. Might be on gravel , but not dirt , definitely no jump.
The AST so far just as my old rally set ups, hold perfect not even a blink. And they are just easy to set up , and so on so forth. Perfect. I will write a feed back on parts on my car soon. Just i have to put my thoughts together so will be easy to read LOL

some pics sorry for the bad quality:

look at the travel on these

normally on tarmac 1 millimeter over the Grupe N specs, meaning i can still go a lot lower

Robevo RS,
To be fair, a lot of people are running the KW V3 on road courses and autocross without a problem....It could be that rally, even a tramac rally, just puts more stress on struts.
I expect there race versions are more durable. That said, considering the price of the AST 4100, they look like a great deal.....You are runing the 5200 right?
