Affordable Coilover Long Term Reports Please

Looking for long term reports on the usual affordable options: Stance, BC, D2 etc. Under $2K options.
Long term defined as over 1 year, 15K miles more or less. How is the damper holding up, hitting bumpstops, clunking etc.

There are probably only a few people who have racked up that many miles on coilovers.

I've seen components on the BC line rusting in less than a year. My buddy has them on his Evo 9...and there are signs of rust everywhere. This could be a result of parking the car outside, but it's not daily driven.

I have teins basic coils for about 2yrs. I drive it in the winter but i clean them with brake clean and coat them rust penetrant every 2 weeks or so during snow season. No noise or any issues till now, just minor rust spot on one side of the top strut and some rip on the rubber where the spring sits.

OK, if "under 2 K" qualifies then KWs qualify at ~$1800 new.

have 2 sets on 2 different cars. The first set has 10K miles and on the car for 1 yr (a little under your frame) and through 2 winters in Cleveland which is as hard as it probably gets.

No change in performance and, importantly, NO RUST. I cleaned everything in the spring and they look like they did when I installed them. Very impressed with them in this respect. THere is a learning curve in adjusting them but other than that they are very affordible and very durable so far.

I would have no hesitation buying these again....obviously backed up by the fact i have them on 2 cars.

I do not have the mileage, but I drive in Quebec and the roads really suck. 1 kilometer here = 10 miles of US tarmac.

I installed some HSD HR coilovers ( company that produces Stance- I was told) while I wait to purchase my KWs, and they have been on since April.

I did 6 track days, some smooth and some bumpy technical circuits. The HSDs are doing the job pretty good.
For $1300 CDN retail, I cant complain.

did you ever check out the NY state tarmac side roads, where they hold rallies , or NY city LOL ?
Rally guys from Canada told me they are worst then some Canadian gravel stages LOL

That is where i broke my KW V3 coil overs after 3 stage .
Side note; all rally roads are public tarmac roads.

I think every country has ****ty roads , equally. Where are the 4 season exits.
