coilover poppy sound!

ok after i got done autoXing i have noticed my front and noticeably my right front coilover has been making poppy sounds.. it really does it when i turn the wheels left/right.. i've checked everything and its all tight and nothings loose.. i have no idea what i could be!! its def the spring making the noise.. well thats what it sounds like but its def a poppy sound!
ok after listening to it again its kinda more of a ping ping ping sound!! does it at slow speeds and if im jus parked and i turn my wheels!! going at cruising speeds u dnt hear it!

does it sound like a bang everytime you turn sharp or hit a bump?? mine did the same exact thing, the nut on the top of the coilover right below the damper adjustment got loose on mine somehow but as soon as i snugged it up it was perfect! hope that helps

did you take weight off the car? you need to put it up on jack stands so that the coilover wouldnt be compressed and if the spring was loose it should move around like if you hit a bump it would compress and decompress real fast and maybe you could hear the spring move around. idk just throwin some ideas out haha

it's the spring binding....it's trying to turn in the perches when you turn the wheel at low speeds and it binds and the pop is when it releases. grease the spring perches, get a thrust sheet, or get a torrington bearing.

Dude I'm having the same problem. So its possibly the pillow ball mount? I think that might be the problem sometimes I even get it when i turn while going up a curb.

how and why do you guys buy coilovers and not know how to use/maintain them?

grease the spring perches is too hard to understand? sell your car.
