how long our stock Yokohama Advan tires last?

how long our stock Yokohama Advan tires last?

i now have 8500 miles on them, normal with some spirit driving, no tracking. so far the threads on the tires are still pretty decent. how long before you change out your stock tires?

The stocks are rated for around 12,000 miles. Not long...

I had to replace stock tires @ 9000miles.

they are very soft compound from the factory....don't expect to last more than 15k, honestly....the only way you will see more than that is, if you get tire rotations every 3k and drive like a grandma

but under normal "Evo" driving conditions, you are looking at 15k or below

The AD08 are what I had and bought again. May try the RE-11 Bridgestones next

The sidewall of one wheel tore off the lip part that that holds air almost all the way around on the free way.. No other damage though and that was around 9k miles

I replaced mine @around 11k. Started to hydroplane, tramlined and got really loud. Mine looked fine at around your mileage then went downhill fast. Make sure you check the inner treadwear, that's where mine were shot.

dang sucks they dont last long.. ima have to start saving for rims i hate putting new rubber on factory rims..... lol

what is recommened for a dd tire that has good grip and a long tread life? how long to nt 05's last approx?

I managed to get 28,000 miles on my stock tires.

Hi if you don't mind me asking where did you get that number, as I am looking for sources which state how long the stock tire *should* last. The tire is rated for 180, however thats useless to estimate mileage unless I now the baseline they're using.

Like someone else said above, the wear on the tire depends on your driving style and the type of driving that you put your car through.
