Evo X with conservative drop and wheels, need advice

Hey everyone.. I need some advice.

I'm looking at getting some wheels for my 2008 X MR. I have the Swift Works 1.0"/0.6" springs already with the stock wheels and it looks decent, but I want a nice set of wheels with a good offset to get the wheels flush with the fenders.

I'm looking for an aggressive style when adding the wheels, but am concerned of the 1.0"/0.6" dropper not being aggressive enough to compliment some wheels.

It would be very helpful if any of you could post a couple pictures of your X's with a similar drop and some nice wheels.

Go to the show and shine forum and look at the aggressive wheel thread. And I agree that the swift sport springs aren't going to be a big enough drop.

My wife has given me a nice budget to work with, so I could even go with some Volk's, but if I can find some ROTA's I like well enough I'd go for them too.

I guess I'm just trying to get around replacing my Swift Sport springs with something that will close the wheel gap even more, in order to get that clean, flush, and minimal wheel gap look while keeping the car autocross capable.

You REALLY should keep the swift sport springs if you're autocrossing/tracking the car. Just a piece of advice to save you 300$ on a decision you'll regret in the long run.

Thanks for the response, Toxin. That's a great point, which is why I was wondering if the swift spec-r springs would be a better set, which gives a slightly lower stance but still giving a great autocrossing/tracking experience.

Thanks again!
