18 x 8.0 for Winter Rims

I looked through the forum, tirerack and googled it, but can't get a straight answer. Can anyone confirm 18 x 8.0 work for winter rims on a MR?

I have 18x8 for my winter setup with +35 offset you're safe! Rims are narrower but for snow tires, I don't care.

Does it change the rider quality at all with narrow tires/wheels?

Kind of.

A narrower wheel is less contact area with the ground, so bumps arent quite as painful.. but then the fact you probably got snow tires on there negates it.. my Blizzaks ride quality aint the greatest. I paired them with 18x9 Rotas and they are pretty harsh .. made worse if you have a stiff suspension.

Yes they work. My Local Toronto Lancer / EVO car club uses it.

MOMO Next
MOMO Strike

both wheels are 18 x 8, +30 offset

no need for spacers. If you need wheels, we are in Canada so shipping isnt that bad and the price is pretty good. PM me.
