Crazy Brake squeel

My brakes seem to Squeal really loud on soft granny braking and it's really loud. My dealership said I still had 90% brakes left but I honestly don't trust that he checked. Time to replace?

Our stock pads are fairly noisy, but it never hurts to check and make sure you're not on the wear indicator. You can always remove the pads and use some brake grease on the pads, shims, and pins.

Mine were like that and then I went and got my brakes serviced at the dealership. Felt like brand new brakes, then about a year or so they started squealing again

The local dealer here said that it's the calipers that cause thm to squeal. I have plenty of pad left and mine are loud as hell too under light braking.

mine does it too. didnt do it at first. started at around 7-8000 miles..and only on light granny stops as well. annoying as hell. i do notice that if the wheels are clean like free of brake dust then it wont do it as much but starts to comeback as the dust accumulates i guess..

brake squeal is common with brembos. if you feel it is abnormal you may have a small pebble lodged between the caliper and disc. you should perform a visual inspection.

I had the same problem. The dealership resurfaced my rotors and pads and it had no effect. I drove the car another 15000 miles or so and it stopped for the most part. im at 46000 miles now on original brakes.

the stock pads create a lot of dust, when dust gets between the pad and rotor it squeals, happens to everyone, look for low dust pads when u need to buy em again

Have you done many track days or alot of heavy braking? Mine would do it after track days because my pads glassed over!
Also if your pads are still good look at trying some squel stop on the rotor. Take the rotor off clean both sides and spray let dry reinstall and drive.

Stock pads, 37k miles, 44 degrees outside. Arvada ,CO. Check pads have plenty of pad. Low indicators still far away from disk:

This is my video from a 10mph stop.

Hahaha ^^^ BINGO...except my squeel is totally gone now I think I glazed my brakes from some spirited driving. But yeah mine would get a bit louder then that at times but that is exactly what the sound was
