Hi everyone, Just picked up a used 2010 MR a few months ago. Absolutely love the car. Still learning about Mitsu and the Evo but so far, I love it more than my old e46 m3. Anyways, i don't expect brembos to be quiet but I've got some irratic brake squealing going on.

Does anyone know what might cause my brakes to squeal in a pulsing manner? I don't know a better way to explain it except to say that the intensity and tone of the squeal is not steady as I come to a stop. It is rather more of a squeal...silence...squeal...silence...etc. type of squeal. Like it's pulsing. This happens during light braking mostly (or maybe I don't hear it during hard braking.) Stooping power is very good so it doesn't seem to affect that. I've got only 5200 miles as of right now if that makes a difference.

Any specific ideas are much appreciated. I'd like to narrow it down as much as possible before I take it to the dealership for service.
