Damn, Autstralia might be more expensive than Japan. I really want the Ohlins as well but am going to wait probably til after summer to pick them up. Gotta spend $$$ to set yourself apart

I too recently put on some Ohlin's. Got them from GTWorx too. Took a little while to ship, but eventually I got them and put them on. The installation was very straight forward and pretty simple. I am very please with them. I tracked the car shortly after getting the coils on, and knocked 2 seconds off my lap time with the same crappy OEM rubber. The car easily had about another 2 seconds more to take off, even with my sorry *** behind the wheel. But unfortunately my brake fluid wasn't up to the task (I upgraded to hotter pads and didn't do a full flush of the system) and I called it a day before I was able to put in a faster lap. I did not touch my sways and even with 10k/10k (I went with a stiffer spring out back than what they come with stock) I found the car still has a bit more roll than I'd like. I was running mid-point on the dampening. I may upgrade the sway bars a bit to cut down on the roll. It's just a heavy pig.

Like I said though, on the street I honestly don't find these coils to ride any rougher than stock. I'll certainly admit this is really my garage queen and I rarely drive it, so your butt-o-meter may net different results.

And you're right, it never ends. Although I'm hoping after a set of monster wheels & tires I'll be set for at least a little while and work more on driver mods than car mods.

Kyle, did we send you our little set-up guide (damper settings, etc.)?

Just need to make sure since we scrambled to get these orders out as soon as they came in since everyone was waiting so long.

PM me if you didn't get them and I'll email.

Hey Andrew- As I recall (got these back in April) I received the installation guide and the Ohlins setup guide. Seemed to have everything I needed as I recall.

They are finally shipped and will be delivered on Wednesday. And car will be dropped of to the shop same day to get them installed, corner balanced and aligned. I cant wait to try them out.

Please feel free to share some dampening settings for daily driving and some mountain twisties.

10 clicks up front and 12 clicks in the rear for daily.

14 clicks up front and 16 clicks in the rear for the twisties.

Enjoy

From full soft or from full hard?

Keep in mind, spring rates and sway bars will also have an added impact on your preferred settings. I am guilty of not playing around with mine much as of yet. They are all set to center point and I need to do some test and learn on them also. Keep in mind that even across similar make and model shocks, "15 clicks" doesn't always translate click-for-click.

From full soft, stock sway bars.

10k/10k spring rates.

Ride height and alignment will play a role in your suspension setting and what you are comfortable with.

My ride height is slighty lower than the 25mm's suggested in the manual by Ohlins.

ok that's exactly what I have; spring rates and stock sway bars.

Thanks for the recommendation!
