These things of course will be at the expense of the offfroad capabilities of our cars.

I personally will be lowering my car on a set of KW Variant 2 Coilovers, however not to the "rolled fenders are required" on stock tires low. I agree with the OP that I don't like the height/roll of the car. that 1 to 1.5 inches will make a huge difference in looks, while providing increased handling for my tarmac only driving style.
<sigh> I mentioned "AWD, rally-inspired" to explain why the struts are visible (ie. the cut of the fenders). Yes, 1-1.5" lower can make a huge difference in looks just as it makes a huge difference in the geometry of the suspension. Good luck with the increased handling, whatever that means.

get the eibach prokit and your rota grids and roll the rears and buy a set of 265/35 or 275/35 you will be fine. If you put wide wheels and tires on your stock height car it's going to look like a monster truck.

Either drop it on wide wheels, or keep it all stock including wheels.

Price is pretty steep, but well worth it IMHO. Mine's in the mail, or so I'm told.
I laughed so hard reading this

Well tell me if this is a good idea, I don't really track my car. My car is just for DD. I want to have a nice looking stance but not ruin the ride quality too much. I want the aggressive look, would it be bad idea to get the Swift Spec -R and run wider wheels? What are your opinions on that for a NON tracker?

I don't think you have to go crazy to get the look you want. I know with rims man you could simply do some basic calculations like a forward space measurement which would be from the rotor hat to the outer edge of the fender. Then you find the desired width you want to run and take this number away from the rim width and that provides you with backspacing. You can get really picky and then convert your backspacing into offset and make sure that the wheel you buy comes right out to your desired location and lower the car a moderate amount rather than going ultra aggressive and this would probably look pretty aggressive with the body lines.

Did anyone else's head just explode?

I always hated the offset math...

I was intending to support your point. Sincere apologies if it came across otherwise.

Are any of you guys lowered by chance? I heard swift spec - r wasn't so bad, again, its just a DD and i don't plan to track my car or anything. Dont get me wrong the oem suspension is amazing but its sitting so high and i hate the body roll when i'm doing a sharp turn :[ plus I kinda want that nice stance...

I put on swift sport springs and whiteline rollcenter kit. Feels stock but just a little lower. Never scrape either.

Eibach Prokits here with no complaints, they're great daily-driver springs.

How much were the drop? Would you suggest Eibach or Swift spec -R?

Ive been debating on coils/springs a lot lately. I'm not going to track my car until I have it paid off, so I think the eibachs will satisfy my dd needs just fine.

plus 1 !

and for the other people who are worried about the geometry .. pick up some ROLL CENTER KIT from whiteline; that will help put the geometry of ur lowered car back to stock .. read about it then decide
