a 285 is 11.2" wide, so I'm pretty sure any tire manufacture will OK that size fitting on a 10.5" wheel. I don't know about fitment with your drop, as my evo is OEM height, but I can tell you that tire size is +0.5" larger diameter than factory.
Most manufactures want you to keep your tire size within 5% of the diameter, which it is. I think in the threads I've read most people with a 10.5 go with 275s though, which is 10.8" wide.

yeah ima go with a 275/35 hope it wont rub in the rear.
275s are your best bet for less rubbing situations but will probably still rub a bit.
285's look good though if you can get your rear rolled nicely.
Either way I would get your rears rolled. If you need help with tires let me know. Lots of good options out there.
