That time of year...

So its that time of year to put my factory wheels back on my X!!!!I go the Rota Grids and I actually left them on last winter with no problem but there really wasnt that much weather issues so I guess I got lucky. This year im not takign any chances plus it will keep the tread life on my NT05s goin for a longer time.I just hit 20k on my X 3weeks ago lol...shows how much I drive it...lol...So blown I dont wanna take my Grids off but I gotta...Also I gotta get the life down on the factory tires so I can get some all-seasons on there...

Anybody else hate this time of year?

U kno what...I just came to the realization of something...I really dont drive the car during the week...not to mention I dont drive the car in bad weather...rain,sleet,snow...my X sees no action...So if thats the case y change my wheels???U kno what...Im not gonna swap the wheels...The color I picked for my wheels match my car so well that I dont wanna mess that up especially the likely hood of something happening to my wheels is low...knock on wood...

you change your wheels to a beater set if you plan to sit the car in the garage for 4 months through the winter period otherwise you will flat spot your expensive summer tires for sitting unmoved for that long.

You guys should move here to Arizona. It's 73 degrees out, and usually around 38 degrees in the morning when I leave for work. No snow, no rain, no special car accessories needed.

And if I want to see snow, it's a 100 mile drive up the state :-)

Oh and before anyone mentions the summer insane heat, think about it as our "bad season" and consider this in comparison

+1. It's almost 60 here right now at 5'oclock. We never get snow and the coldest it will get at night is around 30, maybe 20's on a weird night in the middle of winter.
