Need help with RP03's
Need help with RP03's
About to pull the trigger on Enkei RP03's in 19x10+22 with 275/35/19 Pilot super Sports. Need some advice on if this will work without rubbing or causing any issues. What do you guys think?
Sorry, should have said that everything is stock. I want to build the suspension to suit the setup. They salt the roads here in winter, is fender rolling more likely to promote rust?
I'm hoping the end result will be like this. This is not my first wheel choice, but I can get these with the tires for less than I would pay for Volks or Advans alone. And at 24lbs, the weight is pretty good for a $400 wheel.

Not at this point, but the car could certainly use it, the STI brakes way better than the EVO. This is a street setup, so I'm willing to trade a little bit of performance for a little bit more of a sicker look.

Well again, I'm stock right now. So will it clear stock? I guess what I really want to know is if this will clear with some reasonable negative camber, say -2 or less, and maybe a slight roll. Or will it take more than that?
STi braking (stopping distance, car behavior under heavy braking) is better due to it being lighter and some weight distribution thing I can't pin point. The brakes themselves are better on the Evo. I've had an Evo and STi on the track the same day, Evo still had the original fluid, bone stock brakes and the STi had 3 day old fluid and stainless lines and the Evo had less brake fade and a firmer pedal as things got hot
We're actually 1% better balanced than an STi, but we weigh about 250# more. Maybe our CG is higher. That could be the balance thing that you can't pinpoint. Wouldn't surprise me. Boxer is nice and low.
edit: Nope. Bad guess on my part (that I should have looked up before suggesting). Lancer Evo: 509mm WRX STi: 534mm

I think it also has something to do with the ABS. I find it just works better on the Subie. Panic braking on the street seems a lot shorter. Could also be tires. The RE070's on the STI are pretty damn sticky.
But please guys, back to the setup. =)

It will clear on stock just don't weigh the car down, wheel gap actually helps on that size tire/wheel. You really need to run 275/30/19 as the 35 will be too fat of a profile on the 19s.

So a little negative camber abd a mild roll?
