Front Camber Differences
Front Camber Differences
I'm wondering how much difference in front wheel camber would make a difference to the car (ie... the difference between front-left and front-right values). Currently my front left wheel is at -1.8 degrees and my front right wheel is at -2.2 degrees. Is this something which I should look to correct? Or is it fine? The car feels fine when I'm driving it. I just don't know how much of a difference between the two wheels is required to think it's an issue.
The alignment shop told me the front wheels don't have camber adjustment... but they corrected all the other values. Now I've learned about the method of turning a bolt 180 degrees to add/remove a degree of camber. Some people further claim you can rotate this bolt slightly to try and match the front camber values.
Basically I'm just looking for feed back on whether I should leave the camber values as -1.8/-2.2 or try to match them evenly at -2.0.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
+/- 0.3-0.4 is fine. Not something I'd worry about.
Alignment shop -- find a new one. They're wrong and should not be used again.
Yes, you can tweak the bolts some to get more even numbers. Up to you. I'd leave it be.
