Yeah if you're staying 245, there are really no benefits to going to a wheel 1.5" wider than stock other than looks. It's likely not to be lighter (unless you drop some serious dough). I'm at 265s on 9.5, stock suspension, so no rolling. Rubs only at full lock on the front fender liners.

aren't those a little bit stretched on a 10 inch wheel? i believe 275 would be ok since 265 looks ok on a 9.5

Oh they're a lot stretched and (IMO) will look retarded. But he asked how to make a giant wheel fit without rubbing and without rolling/pulling.

Im thinking I might have to buy a roller and go for it. I have plenty of friends with beater cars that will let me practice on their car before doing my X.
On the other hand, I might have to drive on stock MR suspension for a month or two after I buy my wheels. How big of a problem is that?
I would get my suspension first but I'm waiting on a new version to get released and I have a bent wheel right now that needs replaced.

So you're saying I'd need to stretch with the 18x10? I dont want that. Guess I'll need to roll after all. It just sucks for me that I'm on a remote island with no garage here that knows this stuff so I have to learn everything myself.
And by remote island I dont mean Im sipping pina coladas all day on the beach, this place is surrounded by lava rocks.

Ok, talked to a very wise dude at a very good tuning company and he helped decide on going with the 18x19.5 on a 275 wheel.
I mentioned the AMS and Gates Evo and he put it like this, "when you run with 900 hp you're gonna need the biggest wheel you can find."
I'm at half that and 9.5 sounds right all around. No need to fender roll and I run on stock suspension.
Anyone disagree?

Stock suspension will allow for easier fitting than lowered in most cases. The only positive of aftermarket coils is the additional camber adjustability.

I have 18x9.5+25 with 275s and I had to roll. FYI.

OP, if it were me, and it isn't but it soon will be, I would go with an 18x10 ET20 set of wheels with a set of 265/35/18 tires (a lot of options with this size, which is why I suggest it). If you rub, and that is a BIG if, the roll would be pretty minor. You need only find a body shop or performance shop locally with a roller and some experience. Also, that isn't much of a stretch with those tires, if any at all.

This is what that size looks like:

Those are 275 tires. That will require a roll for sure.

What tires did you go with? I'm looking into Yokohama and Nitto and neither of them make a 275 tire.
The offset on the TE37SL is +22.

Ok well that's because your car isn't lowered very much if any.. That could also be because you're running a retarded sized tire and its stretched. Anyone I've seen and know to run 9.5 +22 and lower needs to at least roll the rears a little.

I run a 9.5" ET12 (245/40/18 tires), and I didn't need to roll the rear. That is within spec for tires of that size.

Yeah, but can you turn the fronts all the way to lock without chewing up your fender liner?

That was a 10 minute fix.
