Hawk HPS clunking when applying brakes

Hi,

I am running HAWK HPS at the four corner with stock rotor and caliper. Everything was fine for around 5000 km. Now, every time I hit the brake, I can hear a clunk sound. However, on a lift, when the brake are applied, no clunk is heard.

I am only running the stock shims with the HPS brake pads.

Went to the dealer and they had no clue at all.... Any ideas on how to cure the issue or what to try?

I have re-greased one side of the car with no improvement so far... will do the other side soon.

thanx

Mart

Something has to be loose somewhere. Start checking for some loose bolts would be my first thing to do.

Using oe shims is no problem. I'd recheck the bolt torque.

I took the pads out. Regreased like a mad man and so far so good. I hate when I cannot identify the source of the issue
