Another spacer question.

So I got rims that are not too aggressive. I would like to push the wheels out maybe 12mm wider. Unfortunately I can't use the version 2 spacers that has the lugs in them. What are the rule of thumb on how much threads(on the lugs) I can use before it become unsafe?

I believe it's 7-8 turns are minimum.

I don't care about any rules of thumb when it comes to this sort of thing. No way would I even ride (knowingly) in an Evo X with 12mm spacers on OE lugs. 5mm is the limit unless and until you install extended lugs.
