Running Spacers

Hi everyone, I am a proud new owner of a 2011 X MR. I am trying to figure out the setup I want to use. I have been looking at a couple of wheel options, but I don't want to go cheap, and I don't know if I can replace my BBS with say Advan's at $2500-3000 when they aren't even forged.

Ok, to my point. I have never been a big fan of running spacers, but doing research on here it seems like more EVO owners run spacers. If I purchase a high quality 15mm spacer what are your thoughts around the safety. If I did this, I woudl just powdercoat my BBS black and run those. Looking for insight, run spacers, or break the bank and buy wheels. Whats a new evo owner to do!

Thanks for the help!

Pat

i just bought new enkei wheels and will put on this weekend. so i will take them off.
a lot plp said you have to check on them for every once a while, but i never did. but its up to you, like i said i never had problems with them.
