I'm planning on installing Whiteline rear sway bar and also getting adjustable end-links for rear. Is that okay to run stock front end-links (stock sway bar) and aftermarket one for the rear?

Also someone please explain what a "pre-load" means?

Pre-load for sway-bars is when the bar is holding a twisting force when the car is sitting still. For anything other than roundy-round racing, this is a very bad thing, because it will cause the car to behave very differently in right vs left turns.

Note that this is very different from pre-load for a coilover. In that case, pre-load is the amount of force being stored in the spring when the shock is at full droop (extension). Pre-load in a coilover is not always bad and is often necessary. In fact, the OE front set-up on an Evo X is pre-loaded to several hundred pounds. Ask anyone who has disassembled an OE front without a spring-compressor, tee hee. You can find such folks by googling: "how much will my driving suffer now that I have no depth perception due to the loss of an eye?"

Yeah, the "pre-load" that I asked for is in context to the sway bars. Good to know about the coilover pre-load though. Thanks.

I am only running an aftermarket rear sway bar w/ oem endlinks. Autocross this Sat. I can't wait to feel new susp setup, hoping w/ -1.5 camber in rear isn't too tail happy. One way to find out !
