KW V3 Front Coilover Speed Bracket Help

Need some help. For those who have kw v3, how did you get the front speed bracket to fit on the coilovers? On the back of the front coilovers there's a 10mm bolt that the brackets goes into. When I line it up, it won't go into the bolt. Looks like the bracket is getting hung up on the kw protruding piece. I'm looking at kw bracket that the bolt is attached to and noticed that its not indent like the factory struts are. Any ideas? Thanks.

U can try flattening the hook piece with a plier and it should be able to mount on the strut.

Tried that but no luck. It lines up on the bolt flush but nothing more. I had no problems with this bracket with my HKS Hipermax III though, strange.

I know that this will be more work, but it will be better in the long run.

I would get a set of braided brake lines; those don't use the bracket. Then remove the little clip that holds the speed-sensor wire and only install that on the shock.

Yikes. Don't think mine looks like that. I'll take a look in a few.

Just a update on anyone who plans to install these in their cars. So I've finally got the bracket to fit the bolt on the coilovers, but it took some muscling around and it wasn't easy. What I did was first, had to bend the tab on the bracket flat and then lined up the bracket with the hole, then I bent the whole bracket out enough for it to grab the bolt along with the hard brake lines. Once it grabbed, I just cranked it down snug, big pain but better then having it dangle there. Hope this help others.

Sorry, I didn't respond sooner. Yeah I remember doing that. It was annoying.
