Help needed for winter tire

Just noticed that one of my winter tires has sidewall damage and needs replacement.

I have Michelin Alpin PA3 in 225/45/18. According to Michelin, this size for this model is discontinued very recently. Seeing that its almost spring most places have stopped selling winter tires.

Any ideas what are some safe options for me going forward? I checked tire rack, ebay and called a few Michelin dealers in my area and came up dry ... I was hoping some of the bigger places might have what I need in their inventory.

I plan on swapping to my summers this week.

I've bee riding on Michelin PA4's for over 5,000 miles. Size 245/40/R18. They are beyond amazing. Could barely drift in an empty parking lot in the snow. I highly recommend, although its time to start thinking about summer times. I'm eying the Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Yeah, just checked and those are totally extinct from our inventory. I don't have an alternate recommendation that's safe to mix with the other three. Sorry.

If he doesn't have the stock rims anymore, I'm sure you guys can hook him up with a nice wheel combo for 245/40/18. I bought my PA4's from Tirerack online and got a very good price. I believe there is an even bigger sale now. $195 per tire down from $266. Wow. Best winter tires I have ever driven on. They saved my life multiple times this winter.

They're so good in the rain and on dry surfaces that I almost want to ride through the summer on them, but I really want to try the Super Sport's.
