So I'm finally thinking about upgrading from my XXR527's. They have been great wheels for the price but now I'm looking at the RS and RS II. Strangly enough the place I looked at the RSII about 100$ per wheel cheaper. I figured they were the older style they would be cheaper. But my question is, are they both 18.5 pounds? I read one place that said they were then I read another saying the RSII were "stronger and lighter". I just ordered Girodisk rotors today so between them and lighter wheels it should be a decent weight savings.

I like the style of the RS but the black color of the RSII. Decisions decisions.

Advan RS 18x10 25 on 265, prefect fitment on the X and man they are hot. I too prefer RS's over RSII's.

I honestly didn't even know they made RSIIs until this thread. I kept thinking about RGIIs. I really do love the RSs though. That GTR face with gunmetal looks amazing.

I may end up going RSII. I do like the hyper black. Anybody know the weight? From my searching they are both 18.5 pounds but I see other posts saying the RSII are lighter and stronger.

I'm still a little hesitant about getting them though. With my XXR I don't care if they get curbed. With 3000$ wheels it's going to SUCK!

Then get RPF1's. Light and pretty durable for the most part. Price is perfect too. IMHO it's the best wheel for the X's body.

I have a friend that has both, for his WRX, and IIRC they were about 8 oz difference, obviously not in our fitment but that should give you an idea.

If you want to go stronger and lighter, go forged, the RZ-DF was my choice for Advans.

Those really aren't my taste. I like all the spokes. I have looked around. I found others I like but they didn't have the right size offset combo I was looking for.

The RZ DF are a little heavier.
