One suggestion would be carefully reading posts that explain things, such as that (above) which said that the "leverage" on the wheel bearing is entirely determined by the final offset, which is wheel offset minus spacer thickness, such that a +34 wheel with a 15mm spacer is exactly the same as a +19 wheel, at least in this regard.

Mechanics is not an area where folks' "feelings" are relevant. That's what Tumblr is for.

That's what forums are for. But you keep fighting that good fight.

Got some updates for you guys. MADE the wheels fit, probably overkill with the 38mm spacers I bought from Ichiba but whatever. I like how it looks, but I don't like how far the wheels are poked out Looks like a beaners car now lol. Still looks nice either way, but YMMV.

As soon as I figure out how to post a pic, I will xD

Holy Jesus! But is it really worth it?
All of that is for the wheels to clear the brake calipers?

Not really worth, but it's more/less I already gotten the wheels and couldn't return them so I just had to make it work one way or another. Learning experience for me at least to do more research on wheels/tires.

It was mainly to clear the front brembo caliper. The rears were ok. Either way, these wheels were more for looks then for performance. I'll buy a track setup one day with proper wheels+coilover combo.

For now, this is just for looks for the summer.

You may wanna get mud flaps? And be super careful of the curbing.

Why did you go with 38mm? Would 30mm not have done the trick? How about 25mm?

I would've suggested using the smallest single spacer that would clear the front brakes.

I had 25mm's on it already and measured it out with a tape measure. Needed 33-35mm's to clear front caliper but didn't want to buy and have to reship back and wait another week or two for a different set of spacers if it didn't clear as well so I just went with the largest I found within reason.

The curbing was terrible on big bumps in the road doing 60mph or so, so I rolled the rear fenders and cambered the rears to the max the stock bolts will give. I'm going back to the shop to realign the toe and what not myself. It'll probably be 2* up front and 2-3* in the rear when I'm done. I went to firestone and they gave me the stock alignment settings and was not pleased, the steering wheel was shaking at highway speeds and the ride was overall terrible. And they're retarded for saying "the front camber and caster is not adjustable". Gtfouttahere, I'm just going to do it myself on the alignment rack at flip the bolts >_>

Already on it, have mudflaps on them in the picture, probably hard to see cause they're black.

I always flip the bolts first, then have firestone only do the toe on the front.

I dunno, man. None of this sounds worth it.
I had shake on the freeway, but it was a bad inner tie rod. Have you checked them?

you need to buy wheels that fit, and sell these to someone with a car that they fit. Running a -4 final offset is absolutely silly.
