Track day alignment questions

Hi I am looking to a alignment done for the track and looking for some suggestions on what specs I should go with
The currently setup I have is -2.5 in the front and -1.5 in the rear with 0 tow front and 0.05 rear the car is lowered but not slammed on FA 500 coilovers This setup was with stock rims and tires

I now have 275/35-18 tires on 18x10 rims and they are close to rubbing in the rear

What I am looking to do alignment wise is -3.5 in the front and -2.5 in the rear with 0 tow front and 0.05 rear with a possible 0.25-0.5 lift to make sure there is no rubbing

Any suggestions for a better alignment? I am trying to not roll the rear fenders

thanks everyone
James

if this is your first time at the track, your current alignment is fine. as you get faster you'll start to figure out what you like and you can start adjusting from there. In my opinion, the seconds specs you posted of what you want to do is a bit much for your first few times at the track.

for the rear toe specs, are you talking toe in or out? I prefer 0 toe all around, but definitely no toe out in the rear

and yes, you absolutely wanna dial out any tire rub before you go to the track. you'll be loaded up in turns for extended periods of time at high speed, not a good combination...

which tires do you have out of curiosity?

my opinion is that your current alignment is fine till you're at the point where you can tell yourself what alignment changes you'd benefit from.

my setup is 18 x 10.5 +17 (using 5mm spacers), 275/35 RE71R.
Fr -3, R -2.5, 0 toe all around, max caster. Love the setup, no complaints

If i were you, i'd roll the fenders before looking at new alignment specs

One thing I wish i did on my evo was run a little toe out. I have it done on some other cars and although it makes the vehicle kinda floaty in a straight line, turn in was much better.
