Hey Everyone,

As you all have noticed, the site has been down for a few hours today. This was partly due to some maintenance items we haven't done for 2 1/2 years now. Now that we are on new systems, running these maintenance items were necessary for future reliability. We are still working on everything so the site may go down again, but I will try to minimize this as best as I can.

I really appreciate everyone's patience.

This is kinda off topic (sorry), but don't tell me to search or that it has been covered before. I did search and it hasn't been covered in detail at all. When is the registry part of the move estimated to be complete??

That registry was amazing and it's current MIA status is creating countless "post pics of _______" threads. It's really kinda annoying and I think people have been pretty patient.

I know you are busy....... I know there's a ton of stuff to do....... but can't we get an estimate?

 

lol how is it annoying. just dont click on the thread its as simple as that~

 

1. it's a valid question
2. it wastes bandwidth to have these threads (that will not be deleted after the registry comes back)
3. the registry was a great function of these forums that answered a lot of questions without posting new threads....... if you were not a noob you might know that

 

hmm lets see here threads of pictures or just pictures else where on the server. yea i see what you mean about wasted bandwidth...wait no i really dont. i dont deny that the registry was a great feature just saying dont click the thread if u dont want to see peoples pictures gratz on looking at my post count and assuming im a noob close but not quite~

 

The registry is the next item on my list. I have some urgent updates to make the site before I can get to it. To tell you an exact estimate won't be possible because I have to program the updates within the registry. Sometimes there are issues that come up that I won't be expecting. I will make an announcement once the registry is up.
