Thanks Mark. I have not yet received one of these e-mails. Is there any other actions to take other than not opening the e-mail? Is there any way of reporting it? Thanks.

Kurt

I acutally got one from evolutionm.net and one for my personal email account as well. I'm not sure if the members will be getting this, but I would watch out for this text format for any other addresses as well. If I learn more about it, I'll post up the info

This is the w32.Beagle.j@mm (Symantec's name) virus. We've been getting it all morning at work from a spoofed work account. It uses your domain name as part of the sender address. So, if my e-mail was ufo@poop.net then it would appear as staff@poop.net (or support, or the 4 or 5 other variations) in my inbox. So, only people with an evolutionm.net e-mail account would be likely to get the e-mail.

Thanks for the heads up, also after registering with EVOM I got rid of AOL and I was wondering if there is anyway to change my email address so that anything that you might send that is kind of important will get to me?

I have several domain names, and have gotten this virus addressed to a "User" on my domain.. Same virus.. My mail server picked it up and deleted the attachment, most ISP's probably will do the same. But its interesting because it caught me offguard, but the message content was exactly the same except for the domain name.

We just received this virus at work today, luckily our isp mail server caught it. A co-worker brought it to my attention after looking at it in her e-mail account and I immediately knew what it was thanks to this post. Thanks for the heads up.

You'd think they could at least use proper grammar if they really wanted to come across as official
