If you have a medium weight cutting wheel then it should slip right in there. Mine does.

badevo,

alright, i'll do some 'hardware' shopping tomorrow and see if i can land myself something like this. cant buy it off online as i the percentage of the goods arriving in my hands is near zero with the care of the authorities in my country... sigh...

thanks badevo.

double confirm....cut the middle adhesive in between the rear portion of the light cluster (black) and the outer plastic frame (clear lense)..

well i just got some TYC cf tails and let me tell ya, tyc sucks. first the fitment wasnt perfect. second there was ALOT of condensation. to cure these stupid problems, i threw them into the oven. 400 degrees, at 7 mins. took them out and pryed them open, same as headlamps. i had no cracking whatsoever. i put tape on the outside lens so it would not get full of silicone. then i re-sealed it, put it in the oven and then smashed it together. condensation fixed. so i threw it back in the over for 7 more mins and quickly took it out. i then bent the 'sharp' corners in wards so it now stays flush within the body of the lancer. all that work for a 'certified' tail light.

It is not adhesive. The tailights are heat bonded. Heating does jack, you have to cut it. I learned this the hard (and expensive way). I ended up buying MR tails.

I just got my headlights done to match

Chrome out not black out headlights

Ive finally found these goddam headlights and once they arrive I will be lookin at chroming the housing instead of leaving them black as original. I'm sceptical about DIY too so will have to source a pro to do it.
Will chroming to the same degree affect the headlight beam ? Anyone know?
Two pics: the headlight look I want and the look they are now...
