It is very, very easy to do. here is what you do in simple order (i may do a write up later)
what you need: 2 Flat black high temp spray paint cans ( i used plastikcolor engine enamel)
10mm socket
Philips head screw driver
flat head screw driver
Oven
1. remove the front bumper w/ the 10mm socket and philips (there is a thread around here that has a how-to, just type in bumper removal in search criteria)
2. remove the headlights
3. clean all the bugs and debris of the lights.
4. cover a cookie sheet w/ paper towels and place the headlight on it, place it in the oven at 250 degrees. leave them in for 15 minutes (there is no need to remove the HID bulb and ballast, they are made the withstand high temps so being in the oven isnt going to hurt them)
5. take the headlight out of the oven and pry them appart (there are little clips around the edges) make sure you dont get any of the sealer on the inside of the light.
6. now remove the silver headlight cover and remove the orange reflector if you want, i just broke the damn thing off, set it aside for paint.
7. be sure to remove the turn signal reflector w/ a philips head screw driver(there are only 2 screws holding it on)
8. now take your spray paint and paint headlight cover and turn signal piece ( be sure to do light coats, be paitient or else it will look like ****)
9. once you have painted them put them back together, the sealer will be dry now so once you have them put back together place them back in the oven for another 15mins to soften the sealer back up.
10. take them out of the oven and snap all the clips back together, let them sit for about 5 mins for the sealer to dry again.
11. voila! you now have painted headlights, now just put them back in and you are ready to roll.

Unless you are 100% sure what you are doing then its fine otherwise its not worth it. There has been a post somewhere that I saw that some place does them for 100 bucks including shipping I think. Spend the money so you wont regret paying much more when its done wrong. Some things can be done DIY but not when it comes to headlights and tail lights. just my 2 cents.
