What aftermarket seats are best for the Evo?

I just wanted to get feedback from everyone who has aftermarket seats. Which are the most comfortable/best looking/safest/best fit for the Evo? Also, where do they have the best prices and selection online? I am getting a new Evo in a few weeks and I want to get new seats. I have looked (online) at Sparco, Momo, Recaro, and Bride, but I haven't seen any in person. Any input would be great. Also, I looked for a thread about this topic, but I couldn't find one. If a thread like this already exists, please refer me to this.

I'm just not a fan of the colors. I just want something a bit different. The styling (ie shape) of the seats is fine. I think the interior is kind of basic and dull. I know that the whole point of the car is performance and the interior is only meant to be functional, so I want to add a bit of interior styling. I know most people like the seats, but they just don't do it for me.

Why don't you just get them reupholstered the way you want them? The stock seats are aftermarket Recaros to any other car. They are great seats! You'll save a ton of money.

yep.. new seats will run a bundle where as you can go to after market glove leather front and back for about 900 bucks. That is what I did for my eclipse so I am willing to bet really great cloth would run less. If you are not into racing type seats I'll bet you can trade the Recaros to someone who has a ralliart or oz for thier seats.

They are one of our local tuners. Awesome facility, awesome racecar, and they do great work on top of it! You IL guys should come down to one of our NTEC meets. We have a big one every now and then aside from our normal monthly. We had guys from Arkansas, South Texas, OK, etc. at the last one. IL isn't too much of a stretch! hehe.

Any thoughts on www.autoleathers.com? It seems pretty sharped and has been featured in some mags etc. Any thoughts/experiences going this type of route or with these particular people. I like the idea of having the back bench matched and inserts for the doors. Plus, it's only about $1250 including professional installation. Maybe it's too good to be true and the outcome is kind of crummy. Let me know your thoughts.

Looks pretty cool to me, certainly a slightly cheaper option than having them custom made.

I messed around on the site a bit and the selection is certainly there. Tons of patterns and colors with inserts, colored piping, etc. It seems really cool, but there's no way to see a sample in person ahead of time (a finished product) and they don't even have a color configurator on the site so it's sort of a leap of faith unless you have seen someon's car that has had this done. If anyone knows of someone who has gotten this done from these guys or some other outfit, I would be interested to know how the results are.
