Since i cant get my hands on a EVO 7, im thinking of getting an 8 and modding it into a 7's body kit. I dont plan to go MR cuz once its out, the evo 8's price shud drop. So if u guys have any suggestions or ideas on where and wut kits i shud get, plz post so i can learn from u guys, im new

 

im pretty sure the front bumper should fit since the headlights are the same but, what do i know?

 

you know the jdm/euro evo 8 rear bumper is almost the same as the evo 7's rear bumper. wing is pretty easy, they sell everywhere. there is this one site who sells carbonfiber evo 7 wing. u might try searching for that.

 

thats obvious. im aware that the rear bumper is interchangable but im not sure about the front bumper.

 

the wing and everything looks similar, i dont have 2 change dat, but its all about the front. hmm carbon fiber wing aint dat bad, sounds good too

 

the front will fit but you will need the hood also..ater that i belive everything will work together...though i would just go cwest kit if i were you

 

the JDM rear bumpers are shorter than the USDM ones. they dont have the reinforcement bar.

 

let it be an 8.don't change it to look like a 7

I would tend to agree whats the point of spending all the money or going to the trouble to make it look like an older version? Evo 7 and 8 are very similar anyway

yup, it's been done...

i grew to love the look of the 8, the 7 looks too boxy now... but maybe it's cuz we're soo used to seeing the 8

 

Da front will fit yo, butz yo prolly gonna need to remove da crash bar yo hommie. Da hood will also need to be replaced so dat it don't look whack yo.

 

I am sure you already knew this... but the EVO VII is more than just a body kit difference from the US VIII!

Your post says that you are not getting an MR "cuz once its out, the evo 8's price shud drop." So your idea of beating this is buying a Evo VIII and throwing a body kit on it, changing the badging and calling it an Evo VII. I hope you enjoy your new Evo VIII.2 LOL Just kidding, but please don't tell me you are buying an Evo, or any new car for that matter thesedays, escpecially a perfomance car because you are worried about resale value! No matter what new car you buy, you just lost money immediately, and IMHO if you are worried about resale value, buy a used Toyota truck or Jeep Wrangler. Please don't take this as a flame, I just don't understand some so-called Evo enthusiasts.
