Evo MR or used Porsche 996?

Hmmm decisions, decisions....Very high performance barn burner that will probably only last 100K miles or so and will be worth squat in 10 years (basically a disposable car / keep for a few years then sell) or a descent performing, well handling sports car which will last 200K+ and will still be cool and have some resale value in 10 years (something you could keep for 10 or 20 years and it would still be cool). I'm just not sure...

I love performance but I also think it would be cool to have a car that you could keep for a long time that would never loose it's cool factor. Thoughts and opinions...just curious how other people think?

I think he said that because since you already have a AWD rally car, then why not get the 996.. getting another rallycar would be sort of pointless if you are considering a 'cool' car that will be cool for a long time.

In my opinion I'd buy all three

Mitsubishi does not have good resale value, and no car will last cool forever.
and why you care about resale value if you want it cool forever.

Newb question... is 100k miles the typical life on a highly modded EVO?

I say who cares about resale. Drive the MR 'til it dies!
