Difficulty Shifting...

This is new.. started bout 2 weeks ago. My car setup is posted in my signature.

Every morning i have this problem of shifting from 1st to 2nd, or 3rd to 2nd or 1st... (when slowing down). It lasts for a while, and is quite annoying. And before you start flaming, i shift from 3rd to first when i've come to a stop.

I thought my tranny fluid was old, so i got it changed, still the same. The only thing that seems to work during these periods, is to really press the clutch hard and put the car into gear.

Need your views on what is wrong with the car ??

Scoot your seat up a couple notches. Just try it.

Just a thought, but you may need to bleed your clutch, or completely replace the fluid.

Went I changed to a short throw shifter, I also changed the stock rubber bushings out with new brass ones.

Several people have said that new bushings and shifter helped allign the syncros better to eliminate the tranny grind. Mine disappered after the install.

However, now that its getting colder, the grind is back....only when the trans is cold. I have new BG Syncro-shift fluid so I dunno what else I need.

Anyone tried Redline in their tranny? I have the same 1->2, 3->2 shifting problems when the tranny is cold.
