I took off my badges but left on the Like almost every body else. I was going to leave it that way cause I think it looks clean but not blank cause the emblem is still on there. Lately I have been thinking about buying a Lancer emblem that goes across the trunk off of a stock lancer es cause I always tell people that I drive a lancer and my friends get mad and say "It is not a f***ing lancer."

I have always taken badges off. When waxing you will save your fingers and you don't need to get inside the letters with a Q-tip. The only badge is on the 'thong', that's plenty of free advertising. I also took off the CF wing and blacked out the FMIC.

it looks so much cleaner, i left the mitsu diamond but pulled the lancer evo sticker off of there. now no one knows what the hell i am driving. anyway i am looking for the jdm badge to put on. not sure though. it is easy, and looks smooth. thats why. plus it keeps people guessing, i run into people all the time that are like what the hell kind of car is that. f um. you are all on a need to know basis, wanna go for a drive. ha ha

i took the "lancer" and the "es" off my trunk becuase i kept accidentally getting wax in it and i could never get it all out. and i think it looks much better with out it. I left the triple diamond on it though.

Well done Did you paint your hood vents silver? (me too) I'm contemplating painting the FMIC "Flat Black" Krylon. It'll make the grill difficult to see and make the car more of a sleeper.

Hood vent is gloss white, FMIC is a very light coat of VHT satin black. As much of a sleeper as you can get with an EVO. I have 5 year olds saying "Is that a EVO?"

One word. Symmetry.

The back is totally debadged with a blacked out trunk lock as well. Here is a thread about the nose of my car:

One other reason I debadged the Evolution is because anyone who knows what it is, knows by looking at the car. And for everyone else, as long as they don't realize I am driving a Mitsubishi, that's reason enough for me.

i debadged my old jetta cause was getting tired of everyone having the same badges as i . but with my new evo , i plan on keeping the badges so that people know what i am driving, cause there are not many evos on the road
