Hi folks,
Im from UK and have one Lancer Evo 8 FQ300 bought in april 2004 "its not the MR version" , does anyone know what mods they do from the standard EVO to get the 300 bhp .

Getting to 300bhp is not a major task at all.

Under the bonnet I can see hks silcone hoses and i believe they have a hard pipe kit where as the standard has rubber hoses, and i have a hks drager exhaust which is pretty cool.
I wasn't sure whether there was a dump valve but i have today found out that you do get a re-circlating valve which does the job but doesn't make any sound.
Does anyone know whether fitting say a hks dump valve would reduce the performance due to the fact that there is already a re-circlating valve doing the work already.? Also does anyone know if fitting a cat by pass pipe upsets the cars engine management system ?
