i live in seattle so it rarely gets super cold out here, and i use mobil 1 10w-30.
I think that the 10w-30 is what comes stock in the evos, but i'm not positive. I also try to limit the span between the temp. ratings of the oil.

is there a difference between using the Mobile 1 5w-10 and the other brands like penzol, car & driver or even the pep boys brand? .... i was with my GF at target and i was going to buy the moile one for 5 bucks a qt. but she kept telling me to just get the $.99 car & driver brand but i was like hell no. ... does it matter?
