Hey ya'll I'm located in beautiful, rainy, green Eugene, OR. I am looking at buying an EVO 8 shortly, and doin some pre-purchase research.
I am in love with the 4g63 and 4g64 powerplants and might be merging a 4g63 evo 8 head onto my current built 4g64 3g Eclipse. We'll see, from what I've read so far looks like a good idea.

Thanks for the offer, but my work requires I work sat/sun and I get wed/thurs off so I wont be able to make it.

And the Evo is parked for the rest of the year till next spring I just had to drop off my license plates at the leinholder so I could take off collision to save some money over the winter.

Oh I want my EVO now! I'm already planning on block swap (4g64) to start (I think this will make for a good start).

 

i can tell that you dont have an evo yet, cause you arent willing to blow off a day of work to drive it with some other great cars. just wait, it will come, just giving you a warning, the obsession runs deep. i think somebody calls it "evo on the mind"- we are going to try to get a support group together for wives, and girlfreinds that dont understand it. i would take some heat off of my back. ha ha. good luck, and sorry you cant join us.

 

I dont have any Evo? I'm assuming your talking to me since I'm the only one that mentioned work. I "blow off" a day of work and I'll get canned, and the bills have to get paid for somehow, there will be plenty of time for play next summer. Jimmygirl, Alligirl, MystcEvo, and a few other TLNW'ers have seen it and me once at Alli's b-day get together.

And even if I did ask nicely for the day off, I already gave the license plates to my leinholder so I could drop collision and save $150 bucks a month on insurance and park it. Have fun.
