Anti-theft engine imobilizer?

The dealer didn't go over most of the features that the car came with-s ince I knew the car better then the salesman, but I just figured it came with a standard alarm. (it's a 2004 evo viii)

But I think I may have to set it up or something. I looked in the manual and it gives all these steps with waiting seconds and such but it seemed that was just to add keys to the car? I was confused.

Then I was looking at the features ont he car sticker and it included "Anti-theft engine imobilizer" and I'm like WTF is that?

can anyone help my stupidity?

I'd call them, kinda sounds to me like some stock thing that they just used to make the deal sound better

the car does have keyless entry but does not have an alarm just an engine immobilizer which prevents and uncoded key from starting the vehicle.
