i would say new. i only have 6k miles on mine, but i drive it pretty hard. now if for some reson i couldnt afford it, or i knew i was gonna trade it in soon, i would beat the hell out of it. serious though. i you buy used be prepared, brakes, tires, clutch, and all the other stuff, that would need to be replaced will need to be. that is why they got rid of it. good luck.

Buy a new... what you can afford... I bought mine new and i sure do push the hell out of it sometimes, i am for sure that everyone else does it also ...Its an Evo, you cant help it !

In my opinion, it would be best to buy new. If you don't have the money for a new one, just get an '03 or '04; don't buy a car you can't afford. I'm sure there are a couple people who take care of their Evos.

I would buy a brand new one but if you can't afford it then the '03 or '04 would do with low miles.
