So far ive used 94 octane from sunoco. This is my 1st tank of gas with this car. I've gotten 68 miles to half a tank. I dont even go into boost very often. It is all city driving. That less then 10 miles per gallon.... Any one else get this low of fuel economy?

That sucks Derek... it may be your ECU getting used to the 94, or maybe your fuel gauge is a little funky and goes down to half a tank quickly, but then it takes a while to go from there to empty. If you don't see around 180-200 miles per tank, I would think about taking it in to have the dealer look at it.

gas milage

I've had my evo for 40,000 and i have never seen more than 225 miles on a tankful. i'm sorry but i really don't believe that anyone gets anywhere close to 30 miles to the gallon. that would be close to 400 miles on a tankfull. smells like BS to me.

Get about 22 mpg mix with city and highway. Usually between 200 - 215miles b4 the gas light comes on.

I agree. I have has my evo for 36,000 miles and the most I have got was 250 on a full tank maybe 255. This was on a low boost setting of 17psi by the way.

Interesting info on gas mileage, i just did someones car with a 25 ferret capasitor ( i think thats right ) in the trunk. Anyway his voltage to the entire car under a full load was 14.6 volts... He was getting 150 miles to a tank.. And i had to tune his car as if he had 720cc injectors. Anybody who has any system in the car that boosts volts , this puts more voltage to the pump hence more fuel = crappy gas mileage. The bad part about the whole situation is if the capasitor fails and hes under a full load the car will go lean... very lean..

I was getting around 24hwy 19city. After the Xede, it dropped to ~19hwy and 15city.

Note: I think the map in my Xede is wrong, and I have no way to connect to it to change it...so maybe my mileage will go back up after tuning.

Mark interesting how you mention this because I experience the same thing. I was crusing and suddenly my voltage guage was showing 14.6V around there. NOrmally it would be around 14V once the engine warms up. With the higher voltage I can hear the walboro whine loudly and the car was not running good. It was as if the car was running rich and the car was very laggy. I've never experience this until now.
Did you guys do anything to see if the voltage went down? I suspect it could be my fuel pump or my alternator going bad (over charging).
