The best I can get is about 20 usaully average 16, because of my heads and big cam. Thats why I want to get a turbo. When I was stock I could get 30 or better if I was driving sane.

I thought the AEM only affected the WOT conditions and that the idle and part throttle area was a closed loop only that couldn't be changed. thus, the AEM wouldn't affect MPG in usual use.

Typically 70% highway I get about 23. Best I've seen was 27, all highway, running AC, and cruising around 80... minimal boost. Hoping the recent airflow mods will save a few bucks when driving like I have some sense (once a month ).

WoW! That is some crazy driving! I had to go from Alice to the Laredo area for work in convoy with DOT trucks that couldn't go over 60 mph. It took us about 3.5 hours!

Oh, I'm getting 21.2 to 24.2 based on how much I floor it. 3/4 highway usually.

I dont remember, but I recently drove a whole tank of gas mixed city and highway driving making an effort to NOT boost at all, and got 19 mpg. An improvement but it was hard to drive that way, I had to make a concious effort to not boost and shift early.
Oh and I also drove from FL to NY and back last month, and 100% highway I got 24 mpg averaging around 85 mph.

26mpg on the highway going up to Tampa and back, no a/c. Normally it's 20mpg or BELOW. It's gotten worse since I've gone to a turbo back. Seems like the car gets better gas mileage completely stock.

the light came on this morning, so I filled up at 2.72 a gallon. That equaled out to 12.1 Gallons. I had pretty much 300 miles on the tank.....~25mpg. Mostly highway, but maybe 5-10 WOT runs

The AEM contros every facet of the engine management. When I had my previous EVO8, the Boost "Solutions" guys tuned the AEM so it would run like crap at all speeds, idle, part open throttle, cruise, etc. The AEM must be properly mapped for everything.....

BTW, I checked my mileage again recently. I managed almost 22 mpg in my daily commute but that was with careful driving and not WOT.... A few days before them, I managed a little over 24 mpg on a highway trip from Atlanta to Macon. That was driving relatively conservatively (75~80 mph) and not too many hard accelerations or stops...
My old Miata gets around 26~27 mpg combined city/highway. The other nice thing is that I can use 89 octane gas....
