STi Owner saying hello from Canada..

Hi guys. I am from Canada and unfortunatly the Evo is not available here due to emision reasons... Damn!! Anyways I have a 2004 Sti and I have been soo intrigued by the Evo and all the articles and Videos I have seen on it I decied to check out you forum and read more about it. I love my STi but if I had the chance to get a Evo I would. So jsut saying hello and snooping around here to see what your rides are all about. My mods are Ecutek , 3" exhaust ,3" downpipe and a Hks BOV. I dynod my car stock 235 at wheels and after mods 275 at wheels. I am also running 19 psi of boost.
What does the stock Evo dyno at?

Was the evo not exported to canada because of emissions? i thought it was due to canada still having 5mph bumper regulations as compared to the 2.5 mph of the states?

No..

The Bumper issue is for the Gold R32. The Evo doesn't meet our Emisions requirments.

The evo's FMIC wont pass the front bumper crash test... thats why. Still, an sTI is still a remarkable car.

Ya..

Maybe. I don't mean to come across as ungreatfull or not happy I love the Sti . It's awesome I am just more of a road course guy and the oversteer is so anoying. I love how the Evo handles.. I am going to the track soon I wonder what my 1/4 mile times should be with my new Numbers.. 270 ish at the wheels.

I would guess your making around 310 to 320 at the crank. This is just a guess.
