I have driven both the STI and EVO. With the 19PSI of turbo rush makes the EVO feel faster to me. I did not get that kick in the STI although you are hauling a#$.

lol. Nothing beat the old '68 VW bug I used to drive. Going down the highway at a breakneck speed of (omg) 75mph it felt like I was about to catch air and go rolling down the highway, end over end. That car was awesome, made like 50hp. LMAO.

so if you look at the output numbers to the wheels, and then add in weight. the SRT dominates in the power to weight ratio. 230hp/240lb.ft of torque, 2900lbs. would that not be the fastest?

FWD cars are Highway warriors. I had a 96 Eclipse GST heavily modded was one hell of a highway car not much could hang with it. But off the line umm spun 1st-3rd... Once they are moving they are fine but don't ask them to go from a stop. I even raced my dad with my evo he was in my old eclipse. We only did it from a light but I pulled about 5 cars on him b4 he even started moving. What do you want something that can get power to the ground or something that can't

This question is kinda like what tastest better Pepsi or Coke? LOL Everyone will have their own opnion.
