Here's a great idea, save the money for the body kit on something worthwhile. Like a turbo kit, Tein coilovers, college education, retirement fund, home furnishings .... or something like that. Don't turn into another one of these show-but-no-go guys that are all over this forum. You're giving the Lancer a bad name, well, worse than it already is.

If your gonna go body-kit wait, RRM is making some, possibly some carbon fiber. I agree with livelyjay, get some go mods first, that way people can actually appreciate your car when your beside them, rather than in their rearview mirror.

Also if you go show or go just make sure you like it despite what other people say. From what I have seen body-kit.com has the nicest for your model.

Why hate? The Lancer will never be a hardcore "go" car. Yes, there are lots of fast ones out there, but we'll never have the following of a Mustang or an Evo.

If you want to look cool, go for it. There are plenty of kits out there. Just start searching. Bodykit.com as mentioned. Carbontrix.com - click Mitsubishi parts and scroll down. RMRproducts.com - they make some lips and a wing. Just keep on it and find something you like. Also, hit up the Lancer Vendor forum for more.

 

Wow, RRM making more show mods? Now we KNOW there'e little left to do for performance on our little Lancers.

Anyway, moving to Show And Shine and changing the title. Please make sure to title threads to indicate the content. As I just said while renaming a different thread titled "Help", 99% of the threads on this forum could be titled "help".

That's not true. Lancers have some (a little) juice!!! They also look great.
Anyway, check out some turbo kits or even NA way will give you a lot of HP.
If basic bolt-ons will not do what can I say - I'm getting new high compression pistons from RRM!!! If that is not enough port and polish your head get bigger valves there is a lot of stuff to make your ride fast fast!!!

 

eh, I'm with akasirlancerlot on this. The Lancer will never break 10 seconds on the quatrer mile and it's a porky 2700 lb. It can be "quick", but it will never be "fast". Anyway, back to body kits.
