I am feeling pretty retarded. I just bought a greddy 52mm electronic boost gauge. I am trying to mount it on the steering wheel and tap into the ignition harness wires. I have the Red 12V Wire from the gauge hooked up to the white 12V wire on the ignition harness, the orange ignition wire hooked up to the black and white one in the same place, and the back light wire hooked up to parking light wire on the dimmer control. I turn the car on and I get light but nothing else. I know I am hooked up right under the hood so what is my &^%$ing problem?

 

i'm not sure of the wiring on mine (i've forgotten), but if you can wait till tomorrow i'll open up the panel and look.

 

I'll try to draw you a diagram and put a pick online for ya.

 

Thanks guys but I figured it out. The problem was the crappy wiring harnesses that greddy gives you with the gauge. I went to the car stereo store and they hooked my up w/ some much better wire taps. Problem solved the gauge works great.
