Yo!
I am Jeremy from houma, la.
I drive an 04 srt4 with a couple little mods, like an nx intercooler kit, boost controller, motor mounts, and a turbo xs BOV. Not to mention my 15 inch flip down TV and my kove components. I like evo's and have a freind who is into his lancer ES big time. I have raced a couple lightly modded evo's and i found that they launch like a **** but usually i fly by after 3rd gear. (no i am not saying an srt4 is unbeatable and will win everytime, so relax. I am not a person who came here to talk **** or flame everyone.) I also drive a 62' chevy corvair. If you look close, you might see me post every once and awhile.

well welcome to EvoM
we had a meet a lil while back with about a dozen SRT-4's and about a dozen lancers (about half evo's) we all ran together just fine oz's had a bit of trouble keeping up with the SRT's and the SRT's had a bit of trouble keepin up with the Evo's but its all about how much your willing to drop into a car

I hope to have fun, and it does come down to who has the most crap or the most money in their car. I have a buddy with a 10 sec civic hatch, i hate hondas, but you have to give respect when it is due. Thats a fast *** time for any car.

10 is fast if you don't believe me about the SRT's ask the guys who came on run with us top 3 cars in the end of the run were 3 evo's followed by a OZ rally then the srt's came in behind that... my Evo was the Very first one in and I'm totally stock the SRT's were lightly modded anyway it was a run through corners and hills etc SRT suspension just isn't up to par with the Evo's but its all good cause they are also 10 grand cheaper.

Dodge's idea of better suspension was bigger springs slightly diffrent struts and in all honesty a crappy set of brakes. But hey, all that stuff is better than a stock neon. Evo's are more expensive, but look at the name brand stuff they come with.

I have no doubt that they handle better. Like you said for 10 grand it better. But as for straight dragging ( i know why would you buy a road car for dragging) I LOVE the way they launch!! But i guess all that drivetrain weight slows them down a little. If i was balling out of control i prob would of got an evo or sti. But i am not so i got a NEON srt4. Yes i said neon because thats what it is. An z06 is a corvette and a impreza is an wrx.

Well, im going to take my ntercooler nx kit, and switch it to nitrous and purge it on the intercooler.(2-3 weeks). I have my eyes on the dodge stage 2 or 3,(2-5 months) it depends on how i plan on doing fuel and turbo size.(whenever i am rich) The coilovers are the same price as a big *** turbo kit, so i prob will do suspension last.... As you can imagine, there arent to many hills in south LA. The local dodge dealership ****ed up two of my stock rims and tires last night, so now i get a whole new aftermarket set!! WOOHOO!!!
