Looking to buy an evo soon..need some tips

Hello. Hopefully in the next few weeks I will be a new owner of an Evo and I would appreciate any helpful suggestions or tips in looking for the right one. It has pretty much come down to an 04 or 05 depending on how difficult it will be to find one. I would prefer an 04 (assuming that they come with HIDs without having to get the sun/sound package?) but if it comes down to it, I will go for an 05. A few questions..

What is a good price(range) for a leftover 04 or an 05? The only option I really wouldn't mind having is the HIDs, the sound package is lacking from what I have heard and a sunroof/leather has no place on a sportcar so those are out of the question.

If I must get an 05, are the factory performance options worth getting?(strut bars, brake ducts, vortex generator, grounding kit) or am I better off getting aftermaket parts in the future?

Any advice/strategies/tips on my search to becoming an evo owner are much appreaciated. Thanks

From what I've heard the Vortex Generator is awesome, I dont have one, but I want one, anyway, you can get them for cheaper afterwards from other places, the other stuff probably isn't worth it, but who knows.

If I could trade my 04 for a 05 I probally would. But the HID's are a must.
