My previous car was a 93 Rx-7. It would easily cruise at 150Mph and feel solid. I don't like the way the EVO feels above 110 so I have not pushed it past 115. But from 0 - 100mph the EVO is the fastest thing I've owned and it handles like a wet dream.

I had a street/drag Honda that put down 627whp and ran low 10's...traction was an issue. I drove it everyday. It was in my Integra first then into a civic hatch.

Fastest yes (its tough to beat 160 mph top end)! Quickest no, my AMX is quicker by a hair in the 1/4, but lord knows anything above 110 mph in an old technology car is really interesting...

My old 99 Camaro SS would have easily ran some mid 11's. Full bolt-ons, big cam, and gears. Too bad I wrecked the damn thing before the freaking stall was installed. *DOH*

The evo is the fastest car I have owned, considering its the fastest car in its class that is new and under 30gs...! what a bargain, I smoke Porsches! I almost beat a brand new Ferrari F360 Modena on the highway with a stock turbo. I am faster than modded muscle cars. What more can you ask for.

I miss my evo... It was so damned fast! I've never done over 130 till I got my evo. I topped it out. 157!! then i found out it was governed electronically. oh the potential!

Yes sir!! and it keeps getting faster. Previous car was an s2k, man, it was not quite as fast and 1000 times skeerier at the limit, I saw 154 on the digital speedo racing a viper in that car but it took about 10 mi. and it had a nasty habit of swapping ends instantly if pushed too hard.
The Evo is just a bigger hammer. Definately quicker, definately stickier (it has no speed govener) and I havn't topped it out yet but I raised rev limit and fuel cut to 7800 soo it should top the Honda. Nothing else I've owned has come close.

My built 95 GSX beat LS6's. The EVO needs some work to get even close.
Pretty harsh when you drop $30 on a car and it goes slower than your POS 10 yr project car.
But I guess thats why its a project car!
