Same here, My C5 corvette was super solid at 150+ But the handling of my 05 RS and 0-60 feel hella sweet. At 110+ my RS didn't feel flighty, just not as solid at the vette was.

I think my drag project car has a better 0-60 and 1/4 though than the RS.

I like to think my RS is the best all around comprimise, I love it.

 

I had a Hyundai tiburon before this makin 203hp to the wheels with the direct port giggle gas and other mods...So yes, my 8 is WAY faster...obviously

 

It is not the fastest, my '99 C5 with bolt-ons was faster + handled as well...

But it will be... Oh, yes it will be.

Too bad the baby seat did not fit in the hatch area. Yes, I tried that and the wife laid down the law.

 

No. My 1986 Grand National was much faster in a straight line. I have had many "fast" cars but the Evo has proved to be the MOST fun straight from the factory.

I hope to say "yes" very soon.

 

this evo definately handles better and has better braking and seating position but my stock 2001 camaro ss sixspeed was a good deal faster than this car... my EVO is stock. I got owned by a f150 lightning on the freeway yesterday, my SS would have destroyed that pickup....


maybe with mods this will change... but that SS would pull like a raped ape on the top end...

 

My modded 2003 SRT-4 was about the same speed but a lot harder to drive fast, The EVO is a much easier commute vehicle and still fun when I go canyon crawling.

 

Fastest and most fun Jap import Evo 6 tops out at 167mph but before it i had a bmw 323ti compact that was pretty quick but would not stand a chance wuth the Evo.

 

yeah its fast, but I want faster!!
