any one know how to do a rhd conversion
any one know how to do a rhd conversion
I am looking for a Right hand drive conversion kit for the 02 lancer, basical i think the coolest thing is the right hand drive cars so thats what i am looking for
Dude I read a article about a guy who did this to an integra and he basically had to strip the chassis ( he didn't it was a salvaged blown out chassis) but he had the everything re-welded to fit RHD and he had to find JDM steering equipment, I highly doubt they make kits and its probably a pain to do, not to mention some serious cash flow, it would be easier just to import a japanese spec lancer/EVO because its gonna take a lot more than I mentioned, you might be able to get a JDM front clip, check it out on ebay but its not gonna be cheap.

man...the cost alone is prob not worth it...and not to mention the time it'll take...it might just be as costly and easier just to buy a rhd or get one impoted

That's like me saying I'd rather put a 4g63 in my car than swap to RHD (And I actually think the engine swap would be the more practical of the two). The cost and difficulty should be enough to sway all but the wealthiest of numbskulls. I think that would take the cake as the most costly show mod I'd ever see. Entirely not worth it just for an RHD car.
EDIT: And no, I'm not calling you a numbskull...but maybe I will if you actually go through with it.

Well, doing a LHD->RHD coversion or vice-versa just for the "cool" factor is definitely not worth the money that you're spending IMHO.
It does not improve the performance...However, doing a RHD->LHD conversion for legal/inspection purposes, that's another story.

If you really want to know I can get a name of a guy that sells a kit for around 3,000. It is not going to be easy to track down the info so give me the Ok if you are serious.

I don't know how it works or how much time to install but I wouldn't do it. Better off importing a car from Japan.
